The brief

Rebuild the website of a 40-year-old advisory firm in Ciudad Real. The old one was a WordPress site with repeated copy and little SEO care; the brief asked for something professional, high-quality and eye-catching with its own design.

Decisions

1. Three clickable prototypes before deciding; the chosen one, “From noise to judgement”, turns the firm’s promise into the interface itself.
2. A canvas particle field that goes from chaos to the logo and then to each service as you scroll: about 4,200 particles on desktop and 1,700 on mobile, with a reduced-motion fallback.
3. SEO ready before launch: sitemap, canonical URLs, structured data, local headlines and 301 redirects from the old URLs.
4. GDPR done properly: accept, reject and configure cookies, versioned consent and forms protected by Turnstile.
5. Built on an in-house boilerplate with a separate frontend and API.

Outcome

Deployed to staging on Cloudflare Workers, kept out of search engines until it moves to the final domain.
